The consumption of alcohol for individuals under 18 years of age is strictly prohibited by law in the Czech Republic. Individuals over 18 years of age are allowed to consume alcohol with a maximum of 15% alcohol content. This also applies to individual components of the drink (cocktails with hard spirits are also prohibited).

Furthermore, if you are over 18 years of age and decide to drink, take into account that you are subject to the Code of Conduct policy. Therefore, you need to drink within the limits of decency and consumption cannot restrict you in other parts of the programme.

The usage of any sort of hard drugs (including marijuana) is prohibited and punishable by law.

Because of the “Roam like at home” policy, you should be able to call and message in EU/EAA countries with no extra charges – that means in the Czech Republic as well. Otherwise, we recommend calling and messaging via WhatsApp.

Participants from countries that do not have visa-free access to the Czech Republic have to obtain a visa from the consulate or embassy of the Czech Republic in your country.
