Session Activities

Teambuilding (TB)

In the first part of the programme, you will get to know other fellow Delegates and Officials via games and activities. You will participate in the General Teambuilding with all Participants of the Conference, then you will join your Committee, and spend the rest of the day teambuilding with them. The aim is for you to feel welcomed into the EYP atmosphere and to get to know your Committee members, Chairpersons, and other participants not just by name. Teambuilding will strengthen your bonds, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable working together. 

 

Dress code: Casual 

Opening Ceremony (OC)

Every good event begins with a proper opening, which is why the Opening Ceremony is an important part of the session. During the Opening Ceremony you will be able to listen to inspiring speeches by distinguished guests and the session’s Team Leaders. The purpose of the Opening Ceremony is to warmly welcome all participants and formally declare the session open. 

 

Dress code: Formal 

Eurovillage

After the Opening Ceremony, dinner on Thursday evening will be conceived as a buffet from all over Europe. Each delegation will be assigned a country in advance and will prepare, bring, and serve traditional dishes from that country. You will be able to express your own culinary skills and taste various foods.

Committee Work (CW)

The main part of the Conference during which you will work inside your Committee, brainstorm ideas, and work towards a resolution on your selected academic topic. You will be guided through the entire process by your Chairperson. The outcome of your hard work, the Resolution, will then be presented at the General Assembly on Sunday.

Cultural Evening

On Friday, a Cultural Evening will take place. You will be able to choose from various activities depending on the choice you make beforehand. Later, you will return to your Committee and proceed to the Committee Dinners.

Committee Dinners

On Friday, following the Cultural Evening Programme, you, your Committee, and your Chairperson will have dinner at a restaurant. This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen your connections with fellow Committee Members and engage in informal discussions. Please note that each participant will be responsible for covering the cost of their own meal.

Panel Debate

On Saturday evening, there will be a lively and insightful Panel Debate. A group of professionals will discuss the topic, share their thoughts and experiences, and answer any questions from the audience.

Workshops

The goal of the EYP Workshops is to deepen and broaden your knowledge of EYP and current affairs. These workshops will be led by experienced members of EYP CZ or external experts. Participants will have the opportunity to select a workshop from the available options based on their interests.

General Assembly (GA)

The General Assembly will be held on the final day of the conference. During this meeting, each Committee will present and defend their Resolutions one by one. This will be followed by an open discussion with the opportunity to ask questions and make proposals by other Committees. Participants will cast their votes either in favor of or against each Resolution. Only those that receive a majority of votes will pass.

Closing Ceremony (CC)

Just as important as a compelling Opening Ceremony is, a proper closure is equally important. That is why, after the General Assembly, the conference will be formally concluded with a Closing Ceremony. During this event, participants will have the opportunity to hear speeches from the leaders of the Officials’ Team. Finally, the Session President will deliver concluding remarks.
