Information for Teachers
Your role at the session
Eurovillage
EYP Conferences are not just about representing your school, work, and knowledge—they also focus on networking and multicultural dialogue. Another important part of your role is to motivate your students and ensure they feel comfortable throughout the conference.
Motivation of your students
Before the conference begins, each Delegation is assigned the cuisine of a European country and prepares food for the other participants. This gives everyone a chance to learn about different aspects of European culture. While the preparation is primarily the Delegates’ responsibility, it would be great if you could oversee the process or even help out yourself. It’s a fantastic way to discover new recipes and enjoy delicious food.

Communication before the Conference
We will keep you informed about all the key aspects of the conference. Please check your email regularly to ensure you have all the necessary information.
Preparation for Committee Work
Once Delegates are assigned to their Committee, they will receive the Academic Preparation Kit. Encourage them to go through the topic overviews and ask questions if everything is clear. Make sure they dive deep into their own topic and look for extra resources. The more they prepare before, the easier things will be for them during the conference.

Appreciating the Work of your Students
Recognition and praise are some of the best rewards. Let your students know their hard work is noticed and appreciated. Acknowledging their achievements in class or even in front of other teachers after the conference will mean a lot to them.
Communication during the Conference
Your support during the conference is invaluable, and we are incredibly grateful for your dedication. Your students will gain many new experiences and ideas, and they will be eager to share them with you. Simply being there to listen can boost their confidence and help them stay motivated to keep pushing forward. Recognition and praise are some of the best rewards. Dress Code
Delegates may sometimes underestimate the importance of the dress code and their choice of clothing. Please discuss this with them beforehand to avoid any misunderstandings and ensure they are comfortable during the Session.
