Karlovy Vary, otherwise known as <\/span><\/span>Carlsbad<\/strong>,<\/span><\/span> is one of the largest <\/span><\/span>spa towns<\/span><\/span><\/strong> in Central Europe. Located in the <\/span><\/span>western part<\/span><\/span><\/strong> of the Czech Republic, it was founded in the 14th century by<\/span><\/span> Charles IV<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. The city is famous for its<\/span><\/span> hot springs,<\/span><\/span> elegant <\/span>colonnades<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and beautiful valley<\/strong>, formed by the confluence of the <\/span><\/span>Tepl\u00e1<\/span> <\/span><\/strong>and<\/span><\/span> Oh\u0159e<\/span><\/span><\/strong> rivers<\/strong>. Aside from its historic spa architecture,<\/span><\/span> international film <\/span>festival<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and unique local products, such as <\/span><\/span>Becherovka<\/span><\/span><\/strong> or traditional spa waters, it is also an educational hub, consisting of the <\/span><\/span>University of West Bohemia<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, as well as the <\/span><\/span>College of Karlovy Vary<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, specialising in tourism, international <\/span>relations<\/span> and economics.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
