the best way to get to Česká Třebová is by train, since it is cheaper, faster and more environmentally friendly. To get to Česká Třebová from Prague it is best to take a direct train from Hlavní nádraží (Main train station). You can find connections and buy your tickets online here or here. A one-way ticket to Česká Třebová should cost around 117-140 CZK (4.6-5.5 EUR).
If you are flying to Prague, you will arrive to Prague airport Terminal 2. There will be signs pointing you to the exit and the bus stop.
- Take the trolleybus 59 in the direction Nádraží Veleslavín.
- Buy a ticket for 90 minutes in the ticket machine (inside of the bus) and pay with a contactless card or your phone. The ticket costs 40 CZK (about 1.6 EUR) This ticket is valid for all public transport.
- Get off at the final stop Nádraží Veleslavín (Metro A (green line) and enter the metro
- Take the metro in the direction Depo Hostivař and ride 6 stops, get off at Muzeum
- At Muzeum, follow the red arrows to change to line C (red line)
- Take the metro in the direction Letňany and ride 1 stop, get off at Hlavní nádraží (Main train station)
- Take the stairs to enter the Main train station, then ride up the escalators, there you will find the screens with arrivals and departures, which will direct you to your platform
Although there are bus connections from Krakow to Česká Třebová, they are significantly more expensive and much longer than the train ride, so we strongly recommend taking the train. All the train connections contain a transfer. Your trip will take anywhere from 4.5 to 7 hours. You can buy your tickets here or here.
