Dear participants,
I am glad to see you attending Brno 2026. The network of events across the continent that we call EYP is, to me and many others, a space that has left a lasting impression. It is a place to explore, learn, have interesting conversations, and form connections with your peers. Over the last few months, the academic team of this session, particularly the Chairpersons of this event that you will be meeting very soon, have spent a great effort to make sure that the 28th National Selection Conference of EYP Czech Republic can be a space that utilises the potential that we have in this one week in Spring.
The motto of this session, “Shaping Strength through Unity”, will not only be reflected in the topics that will be discussed at this event. It is a core tenet of the EYP that our differences must not always be overcome, but that uniting in search of a common goal, be it learning, discussing, or simply enjoying the session together, results in a stronger community, at this session and beyond it. Through this communal strength, I am certain this brief event will leave a positive impact on you, me, and EYPCZ.

My name is Max, and I have the great honour of being the Editor of the 28th National Selection Conference of EYP CZ Brno 2026. And with that, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to this event.
EYP sessions are special because they bring together people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Over the course of this event, you will debate important topics, share ideas, and collaborate with others who may think very differently from you. I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity: speak up, stay curious, and take the chance to get to know the people around you.
The Media Team will be accompanying you during this journey, to capture the moments that will make Brno 2026 unforgettable. Our goal is not only to document the event, but also to highlight the connections, creativity, and energy that you bring to it. So if you see us around, feel free to interact with us, join a project, or simply stop by to say hello — we would love to hear your stories and experiences.
Whether this is your first EYP event or you already know the network well, I hope this event will inspire you to connect with others, exchange ideas openly, and enjoy every moment of the experience.

Dear participants,
I am delighted to welcome you to the 28th National Selection Conference of EYP CZ Brno 2026. My name is Karolína and I am the Head of Jury for this session.
Throughout the session, you will see me and my four amazing Jury Members quietly observing your work, sometimes perhaps with a serious expression. However, please do not let this fool you into thinking that the Jury Team is made up of daunting or unapproachable people. We are simply observers, deeply focused on preparing useful feedback for those of you who wish to receive it during the designated times in Brno.
The Motto of this session, “Shaping Strength through Unity,” has never been more fitting. In today’s dynamic political climate, where unity through discussion and mutual understanding is more urgent than ever, we hope to see you strive for respectful and fruitful teamwork. We look forward to seeing you support one another and use your diverse perspectives to make your discussions even more valuable and your resolutions even stronger.
To conclude, I am looking forward to meeting you all in Brno and creating great memories together.
