Event Safety
To ensure that the 28th National Selection Conference of EYP CZ Brno 2026 is a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants, an Event Safe Person (ESP) will be available throughout the Conference. This role will be filled by Lara Mia Gajdošová (CZ) & Simona Melicharová (CZ). You can also turn to the National Safe Person (NSP) Sarah Benešová (CZ).
If you witness or experience any behaviour that feels inappropriate, uncomfortable, or offensive, or if you’re dealing with any personal conflicts, please reach out to an Event Safe Person. They are there to offer a confidential and supportive space, whether to help resolve a situation between two individuals or provide personal support. Event Safe Persons are always available to assist you.
Feel free to contact the National Safe Person or the Event Safe Person by email/phone at any time before or during the Conference whenever needed.
Alcohol Policy
In accordance with the law of the Czech Republic, all participants under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from purchasing or consuming alcohol. Individuals over 18 years of age are allowed to consume alcohol with a maximum of 15% alcohol content. This also applies to individual components of the drink (mixed drinks with anything above 15% are also prohibited).
Furthermore, if you are over 18 years of age and decide to drink, take into account that you are subject to the Code of Conduct policy. Therefore, you need to drink within the limits of decency, and consumption cannot restrict you in other parts of the programme.
Drug Policy
There is ZERO tolerance to ANY use of hard drugs (including marijuana). It is prohibited and punishable by law!
Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping are prohibited for all underage participants during the session according to the law of the Czech Republic. Additionally, smoking and vaping are not allowed in any indoor spaces. If you are of legal age, you may smoke outdoors, but please be aware that there are still restrictions, such as near official buildings and public transport stops.

Please make sure to save the following phone numbers in case of emergency. It is also recommended that you download the app Záchranka. It allows you to quickly contact Emergency Medical Services, and it automatically shares your location with them, allowing them to act quicker.
