Alcohol and Smoking Policy

According to Czech law, the consumption and purchase of alcohol and tobacco products is strictly prohibited for individuals under 18 years old. For participants of 18 years old and over, alcoholic beverages may legally be consumed, but keep in mind that at EYP CZ Conferences, alcohol is only permitted if it does not exceed 15% alcohol by volume. This means that cocktails containing hard liquor are not allowed, even if mixed with other ingredients.

Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) is likewise illegal for minors. For those of legal age, smoking is permitted only in designated areas and never indoors.

The use of any drugs (including marijuana) is strictly prohibited in the Czech Republic and carries legal penalties.

Visa

Participants from EU countries, as well as from the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland, have visa-free access to the Czech Republic. Participants from countries that do not have visa-free access to the Czech Republic have to obtain a visa from the consulate or embassy of the Czech Republic in your country. If you require any assistance, do not hesitate to reach out.

Thanks to EU regulationsif you have a SIM registered anywhere within the EU, calling should cost the same as in your home country. This usually applies to roaming as well, but we recommend checking the conditions with your mobile operator to be sure. Otherwise, we suggest calling via WhatsApp.
