Event Safety
To ensure that all Delegates feel safe, comfortable and respected during the 18th Regional Selection Conference of EYP CZ Hradec Králové 2025, we are pleased to introduce the role of Event Safe Person (ESP). Throughout the entire conference, two Event Safe Persons – Mathea Sending (CZ) and Dany Pomyjová (CZ) – will be available for all participants at any time. In addition, you may also contact the National Safe Person (NSP) Sarah Benešová (CZ).
If you experience any behaviour that makes you or someone else feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or offended, please do not hesitate to approach one of the Event Safe Persons. They are present to create a space free of bias, criticism, and discrimination for everyone, whether that means helping resolve a conflict or supporting you through whatever you might be facing. Event Safe Persons can also be approached if you are dealing with any personal conflicts or a difficult situation.

(Potentially) Anonymous Safety Form
In case you are feeling unwell and want to share anything that troubles you with our Safety Team, but you do not want to reveal yourself or show up in person to the Safety Room, you can fill out this Safety Form, where you can write anything that comes to your mind. Revealing your identity is purely optional.

Alcohol Policy
In accordance with the law of the Czech Republic, participants under the legal age of 18 are not permitted to purchase or consume alcohol. Participants aged 18 and over may purchase and consume alcohol only in the evenings, after the official programme, and only beverages with an alcohol content of up to 15%, according to EYP policies. Delegates over the age of 18 are not allowed to provide any alcoholic beverages to Delegates under the legal age. Mixed drinks containing any ingredient with more than 15% alcohol are strictly prohibited. Delegates aged 18 and over are expected to drink responsibly, with consideration for their own well-being and that of their fellow Delegates.
Delegates are strictly prohibited from purchasing or using any illegal drugs (including marijuana) in accordance with the law of the Czech Republic. Any violation of the law will be treated with the utmost seriousness and may result in significant consequences.
Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping are strictly regulated in accordance with Czech law. Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to smoke or vape. Those aged 18 and over may smoke or vape in designated outdoor areas. Delegates over the age of 18 are not allowed to provide any nicotine products to Delegates under the legal age. Smoking and vaping indoors is strictly forbidden. We kindly ask you to be considerate of your surroundings by keeping an appropriate distance from indoor spaces and public transport stops. Before leaving the building, please inform one of the Organisers of your absence.
