The 85th International Session of EYP will take place in Brno, which is, with its 400 000 inhabitants, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. Brno has a special connection with Moravia, the southeast region of the Czech Republic, one of the historical Czech lands as it used to be the capital of the Margraviate of Moravia. Brno is considered the seat of judicial authority, as some important courts, such as the Constitutional Court or the Supreme Court, convene in this city. Nevertheless, Brno is primarily known as the centre of higher education and with 4 public universities and 13 institutions of higher education in total it gives an opportunity to study and explore the beauty of this city to nearly 90 000 students.
Minimalistic architecture, rich historical background, stylish modern restaurants, bars and cafés - the strategic location in the centre of Europe, which makes it easily accessible are just some of the reasons why Brno is positively ranked in the tourist brochures and lists of cities you must visit.
